We create bold, playful and unexpected pieces designed to give an outfit that extra something.
Sometimes colourful, sometimes oversized, sometimes a little weird — exactly how we like it.
Inspiration can come from anywhere: fashion, vintage finds, travel, nature, colours, objects and things we come across in everyday life.
We take those ideas and turn them into pieces that feel distinctly BABS.
We call them not your average accessories.
IT STARTED
BY HAND.
During lockdown in 2022, we started making jewelry ourselves.
Our first pendants were made by hand using epoxy and resin — experimenting with colours, shapes and whatever ideas we wanted to try.
Jewelry quickly became the part of BABS people connected with most. It kept growing, while clothing became less and less important.
Eventually, we decided to leave clothing behind completely and put all our energy into what BABS had naturally become:
a jewelry brand.
Shoots, samples, styling, concepts and a lot of ideas in between.

Making every single piece ourselves eventually became impossible. Designing them never did.
Every collection still starts with us: an idea, a colour, an object, a sketch or sometimes something we simply can’t stop thinking about.

We’ve never been particularly good at playing it safe.
BABS can be bold, colourful, oversized or just a little unexpected.
Maybe that’s also why our pieces have found their way far beyond the Netherlands.
Today, BABS is worn all over the world — and we love seeing the same piece styled completely differently from one person to the next.
Jewelry was never really about following rules. It’s about making it yours.
HI, I’M
BABETTE.
I started BABS in 2020 with one very clear feeling: I wanted to build something of my own.
What that “something” would eventually become definitely wasn’t clear yet.
Somewhere between making our first resin pendants, experimenting with new designs and seeing people actually wanting to wear them, jewelry completely took over.
And I’m very happy it did.
Today, I spend most of my time thinking about what BABS should look like next — developing collections, obsessing over colours and materials, working on samples and probably sending far too many references back and forth until a piece feels exactly right.
I still get ridiculously excited when I see someone wearing BABS in the wild.
There’s a lot more I want to build with this brand, so we’re definitely not done yet.OUT OF THIS BRAND.
